Embryo

This is a picture of a bean seed embryo that I looked up.

endosperm: it surrounds the embryo and provides nutrients for the embryo.

embryo: it is neccessary for a plant, just as it is in animals. The organism will grow and form from the embryo state.

cotyledons: in a dicot plant, such as this bean there are two or more cotyledons. The cotyledons become the leaves in the seedling.
